We are defined by the choices we make.

And we attempt to make each one of them with utmost certainty.

This accountability of our decisions makes us conscious, but are we conscious enough to discern our real motivator?

Are we sometimes misled by pretentious motives rather than reaping intrinsic value?

Are we sometimes driven by the result of the choices rather than the underlying purpose?

Are we sometimes on the right path, but for the wrong reason?

Does our decision still hold that merit and effectiveness, to instill that binding determination?

Is this flawed rationale the culprit for us undermining our success?

Our purpose is our lighthouse.

It gives us direction and holds us from deflecting from our very motive. But sometimes, do we fail to identify our purpose?

Fail to answer the question- Why?

So,

Why did you actually start that journey?

What was your purpose?

Why did you make that friend when you were young?

Because they were ‘cool’ or for the understanding you shared?

Why did you start playing that instrument?

For being that style icon or the way it pacified you?

Why are you doing that course?

Is it only for the upgradation of your résumé or the genuine willingness to learn?

Why do you have that job?

Does it merely give you monetary value or does it fuel your passion?

Why did you choose to get married?

Because it was customary at your age or because you found the right partner?

What value did every choice of yours give you?

What gave you that spark and urge to commit yourself?

So,

What’s your story?

Why are you doing what you’re doing?
